Made in Stoke-on-Trent by Royal Staffordshire, a pottery house celebrated for timeless designs and quality craftsmanship, the Tonquin pattern was created by the iconic Clarice Cliff and remains a firm favourite among collectors and decorators alike.

There are some marks on the back of the plate where it has been attached to a stand or hanger. There are also a couple of small brown dots on the front of the plate which may be original to the production, as well as a few small scratches.
